Julia Barretto silent on mom-aunt meeting

JULIA Barretto is happy that everything went well during her 18th birthday party.

In an interview with the Kapamilya actress at the “And I Love You So” press conference on Tuesday, Julia said that she's grateful that everyone enjoyed her debut.

"Birthday wish come true and prayers answered. Sobrang peaceful, sobrang happy and lahat ng pinag-pray ko for the debut ay nangyari. Sobrang thankful ako kay Lord," she said.

Claudine, her parents Inday and Miguel Barretto, and the rest of their family attended the grand debut of Julia last March 10 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

The party marked as a reunion of sort for Marjorie and Claudine who are at odds for years now.

Asked to comment on this, Julia said: "You know what, right now I can say that everything is peaceful and everything's okay. Yung ganyang mga bagay na hindi ako involved, I don't feel that I'm in the right position to answer."

Claudine said in a television interview last week that she's happy to be a part of the special occasion. She also replied "move on na" when asked about meeting Marjorie again.

"I don't know what to feel but after all she's my sister and I love her. Okay na, tapos na 'yan. Move on na," Claudine said. (Sunnex)
