EV’s top football teams to square off today

Football teams coming from Leyte, Northern Samar and Cebu are set to play today to take a shot for a national slot for the Philippine Football Federation (PFF)-Smart National Club Championship today at the Leyte Sports Development Center. For today’s match, the teams from Leyte (Global FC) and Northern Samar (Hijos) are to square off scheduled at 2 p.m.

Among in attendance in today’s play is Azkal’s manager, Stephen Dan Palami. Palami, who is from Tacloban, is also the owner of the Global FC and the national president of the Leyte Football Association (LFA). Jogie Ronda, LFA staff, said whoever wins today has a chance to represent the Visayas for the national football competition.
