Yeung’s transfer of residence fuels talk she’ll run next year

MARIQUITA Salimbangon-Yeung transferred her voter registration from Bogo City to Medellin town last May 30, said Medellin Election Officer Jose Bariga.
Asked if Yeung will run for mayor of Medellin, last-term Medellin Mayor Ricardo Ramirez said, “Your guess is as good as mine.”
Ramirez said his lips are sealed when asked whom will he support in next year’s elections. He said it’s still too early to think of elections and that he is still focusing on his work.
