Woman nabbed for collecting ‘extortion’ money for inmate

FOR allegedly collecting the money demanded by an inmate of Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC), a woman was caught in an entrapment inside the house of a former town official in Barangay Poblacion, Alcoy, Cebu last Saturday night.
Police identified the suspect as 40-year-old Delia Ambrad of Barangay Balud, Dalaguete.
She allegedly went to the house of former councilor Ailee Costin to get P30,000, which was asked by inmate Brian Rabago, who is now detained at the CPDRC over drug charges.
