Free screenings for the elderly proposed

ALL senior citizens in Cebu City will be able to watch movies for free in theaters if the City Council approves the ordinance proposed by Councilor Richard Osmeña.
However, they must be registered with the Office of the Senior Citizen’s Affairs. And they can only watch on Mondays and Tuesdays.
“The availment by the said senior citizen during Mondays and Tuesdays shall be on the first screening hour. All senior citizens can avail themselves of the said free movie access only once per movie in every movie theater,” the measure states.
