Poblacion 1 candidate wins Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2015

TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines  — Eda Cimafranca of Poblacion I, this city outsmarted 14 other candidates to win the Mutya sa Tagbilaran 2015 title during a pageant held at the Bohol Wisdom School gym Friday night.

Mayor John Geesnell Yap II wife Jane, provincial and other officials graced the competition, which was a prelude to the annual celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph, the Worker, patron saint of this city.

Cimafranca succeeded Geraldine Topsnik, last year’s titleholder, and will represent the city in the search for Miss Bohol Sandugo in July this year.

Christine Juguan of Barangay Dampas and Sheree Ann Ciruela of Poblacion 2, clinched the first runner-up and second runner-up  respectively. Juguan also won the Darling of the Press award, while Ciruela was the Darling of the Crowd awardee.

Completing the five finalists were Ma. Mercedes Cutanda of Barangay Mansasa and Jennifer Winters of Barangay Dao, who won the Best in Talent award.

Cimafranca also took minor awards: Best in Swimsuit, Best in Interview and Best in Gown.

Ciruela won the “Darling of the Crowd” and Juguan, “Darling of the Press” award.
