Ex-mayor’s house robbed

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines – Robbers broke into the house of a former municipal mayor in Masbate and took away three firearms and cash in Esperanza town last Saturday.
Reports said the robbers took two M16 rifles, a caliber .45 pistol and P2,000 cash from the house of former mayor Mac John Seachon, 38, in Barangay Agoho.
House caretaker Emmie Manatay told police that the robbers destroyed the window.
The mayor and his family were vacationing in Manila when the incident occurred.
Police said they would check if there are other motives than robbery.
