WILLIE Revillame is back on the Kapuso Network.
The television host signed an airtime agreement on Friday with GMA-7 executives, led by the station's chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon.
The partnership between GMA-7 and Revillame's WBR Entertainment is for the comedian's comeback game show "WowoWin," which will air every Sunday starting April 26.
"We are pleased to have Willie Revillame's program in the network. Willie has a very large following. Through our partnership with WBR Entertainment, GMA Network will be a part of the long awaited return of Willie Revillame on television," Gozon said.
Gozon added they're grateful that "Wowowin" will join GMA's roster of shows.
During the contract signing, Willie said he is happy to be back to where he started.
"Dito naman ako nagsimula sa GMA. Kumbaga, nag-abroad lang ako. Ngayon, nagbabalik na ako," he said.
Revillame started his career in television via defunct noontime show "Lunch Date," which had a seven-year run from 1986. He later moved on to ABS-CBN, where he hosted “Wowowee."
In late 2010, he transferred to TV5 where he hosted variety program “Wil Time Bigtime” until January 2013. (Sunnex)
