Toast to the Summer

DAY breaks. The sun seems to emanate a warmer glow than usual. The light begins to beam, stirring sleepyheads from a deep slumber, a glaring reminder that it’s the heat of the summer sunshine.
Toasting to the season requires heavy doses of days basking under the sun while sipping ice cold drinks with water dripping from the glass, taking much needed trips with waves caressing the already sun-kissed skin at the beach for care free rest and relaxation, and bonfires to cap the night.
