Pimentel, poll execs oversee PCOS diagnostics tests - ABS CBN News

MANILA – Officials of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and Senator Koko Pimentel went to Cabuyao, Laguna to check the conduct of diagnostics—or the checking of errors—on precinct count optical scan (PCOS) machines.
The diagnostics is part of the controversial extended warranty agreement between COMELC and Smartmatic.
About 100 technicians of Smartmatic will check the memory, compact flash, power, scanner, thermal printer, LCD screen and other parts of the PCOs machines.
Malfunctioning PCOS machines would be quarantined and fixed.
