LGUs told: Adopt licensing system

TO fast track the issuance of business permits, local government units (LGUs) in Central Visayas were encouraged to adopt the Business Permit Licensing System (BPLS). The system is introduced by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
DILG 7 Assistant Director Elias Fernandez said that his office have been holding trainings on regulatory simplication on city and municipal governments for the implementation of BPLS.
