Espinoza: Was it a sick joke?

BELIEVE it or not, Vice President Jejomar Binay told his audience in Zamboanga City that he wishes that Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas would be his running mate for vice president in next year’s elections. He said he was not joking since it is his desire to unite political leaders.
Only VP Binay knows why he said it in Zamboanga City and not in Cebu City where he was one of the guest speakers during the 15th National Convention of Lawyers on Friday in one of the hotels here. Perhaps, he was uncomfortable saying it before his fellow lawyers.
