Carla Abellana remains a Kapuso

CARLA Abellana has renewed her ties with the Kapuso Network by inking a three-year deal.

The contract signing was held Monday afternoon at the GMA compound in Kamuning, Quezon City with GMA chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe Gozon and other station executives present. The actress came with her manager, Arnold Vegafria.

Carla said she's happy to remain a Kapuso.

"I don't see myself anywhere else. Ito yung home ko, andito ako talaga, I belong here. Same faces, mga nakangiti silang lahat. So, sabi ko, ito pa rin yung mga makakatrabaho ko for the next three years," she said.

Gozon, on the other hand, is pleased that the 28-year-old affirmed her loyalty to the station. Carla has been with GMA for six years.

"Tayo ang nag-offer kay Carla sa pag-renew. Kitang-kita niyo naman, si Carla hindi lamang maganda at mahusay na artista, loyal pa sa atin. Tinitingnan natin lahat yan. So wala ka nang mahihingi pa kay Carla. And we consider ourselves lucky to have Carla again," he said.

The actress is currently part of Sunday programs "Ismol Family" and "Sunday All Stars."

Lilybeth Rasonable, senior vice president for Entertainment TV, said the actress will start working on a new show in two months and will also do another project under the news and public affairs department. (Sunnex)
