Retailers brace for integration

ALTHOUGH local retailers are aware of the impact of the regional integration, which includes entry of more foreign retail players, influx of cheaper goods and mobility of workforce, members of the Philippine Retail Association (PRA) - Cebu Chapter remain confident they will survive the tight competition.
“Price competitiveness is threatening us but all we need is to band together, implement a good strategy and we will survive,” said PRA-Cebu’s newly elected president Robert Go.
