Cebuano artists shine in 2014 Star Magic Ball

THE Queen City of the South was well represented in one of the most glamorous showbiz events in the country, the annual Star Magic Ball.

Now on its 8th year, the much-anticipated party was held Saturday evening at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La Hotel, with the theme "Hollywood Glam: Black, White and Silver."

Cebuana actress Kim Chiu graced the red carpet with leading man Xian Lim and donned a black and white Pepsi Herrera gown.

Kim also gamely showed to photographers the backless design of her dress.

Sisters Shaina Magdayao and Vina Morales also did not disappoint fashion critics as they wowed the crowd with their respective black ensembles.

Shaina wore a Boom Sason off-shoulder creation while Vina dazzled in Escada.

The Cebuano men also came ready for the ball.

"Pinoy Big Brother" Big Winner Slater Young wore Francis Libiran, while actor Matteo Guidicelli looked dapper in Kenzo suit. Both Slater and Matteo walked the red carpet alone.

This year's Star Magic Ball proved to be another success as it was attended by over 300 brightest and biggest names in entertainment industry. (Sunnex)
