Dingdong, Marian now engaged

AFTER seven years together, primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera are finally engaged.

Dingdong went down on one knee during Marian's self-titled dance program on the Kapuso channel.

He said: "Sa tagal ng pagsasama natin, may isang bagay na malinaw sa akin. It is that I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

"Kaya ngayon, saksi ang mga mahal natin sa buhay, gusto kong ipagsigawan sa buong mundo na ikaw ang sagot sa aking mga dasal."

Marian, who was emotional during the proposal, said she will continue to love and take care of her fiancé.

"Sa dami ng pinagdaanan natin, sa lahat ng batikos na binato nila sa akin, lahat yun kaya ko lunukin. Dahil alam nating dalawa kung ano ang totoo. At isa lang ang sasabihin ko sa iyo, habang buhay kitang mamahalin at aalagaan."

Marian will be celebrating her 30th birthday on Tuesday, August 12. (Sunnex)
