Cebu to host Asian Universities Basketball Championship

CEBU will again host a Asian collegiate basketball action, the 2014 Asian University Basketball Championships (AUBC) in October.
Basketball Association of the Philippine-Central Visayas (BAP-7) director Lorenzo “Chao” Sy announced that he was offered to host the event by the organization president Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV.
“The hosting was offered to me by BAP president Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV and the higher heirarchy of the Federation of Schools Sports Association of the Philippines (Fessap). And I willingly accepted it because I wanted the Cebuanos to get the chance to experience watching world class basketball,” Sy stressed.
