PAGASA: Cloudy, moderate to heavy rain over east Visayas - GMA News


With a low-pressure area, which was formerly Tropical Depression Caloy, located near Southern Leyte as of 4 a.m., weather service PAGASA predicted cloudy skies, moderate to occasionally heavy rain and thunderstorms over the Eastern Visayas on Sunday.

The Bicol region, Zamboanga Peninsula and the rest of Visayas, meanwhile, will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.


The Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley regions will have cloudy skies and light rain.


The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.


Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the northeast to north over the rest of the country.


Coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.


The maximum temperature over Metro Manila on Saturday was 32 degrees Celsius recorded at 1 p.m. It was coolest at 6 a.m. at 21.1 degrees. — DVM, GMA News
