7 hurt in Edsa bus accident - report

MANILA, Philippines - Seven people were hurt after a passenger bus collided with a trailer truck along Edsa in Quezon City Thursday dawn.
Reports said AC Trans bus was speeding along the northbound of Edsa-Munoz area when it rammed a trailer truck, driven by Edgar Arandia, who was about to maneuver the vehicle a gate of an establishment.
Those who sustained minor injuries, including Arandia and bus driver Johnson Miraveles, were rushed to Quezon City General Hospital, reports added.
The road accident caused traffic snarl in the area as the two vehicles were only cleared hours later.
