Arson seen in Cotabato university fire

NORTH COTABATO – A fire razed parts of the administration building of the University of Southern Mindanao (USM) in Kabacan town before dawn yesterday, less than a week after an attempt to burn down the school’s college of animal science office.
A grenade blast also rocked the USM campus last month, just hours after the university’s new president, Francisco Gil Garcia, assumed his post.
Ibrahim Guiamalon, Kabacan fire marshal, said there were indications of arson in yesterday’s fire.
