MANILA, Philippines - A landslide buried two classrooms in Compostela town in Compostela Valley, before dawn Wednesday.
Only part of the roofs of the Grade Three and Grade Six classrooms of the Bango Elementary School in Barangay Bango can be seen after mud covered the structures.
Reports said that the incident took place at around 2 a.m.
Residents were awakened by the rush of mud and rocks from the mountain.
Classes have been suspended in the entire province due to the inclement weather caused by a low pressure area near Davao City.
