Father and son coltuvating marijuana in Leyte

Burauen, Leyte: Joint elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) RO8 and the Burauen Police station seized on Friday 12 fully grown marijuana plants (Cannabis sativa Linn.) from a father-and-son tandem in Barangay Cali, Burauen, Leyte. The law enforcers swooped upon the marijuana plants at around 2 p.m. on October 11, upon information that the suspects were cultivating marijuana plants in the vicinity of Barangay Cali, an upland barangay here. Burauen Philippine National Police Chief Insp. Federico Sanches identified those arrested as Alexander Redubla y Tuang, 52 years old, a farmer, and father of Axel Redubla y Mostasesa, 18 years old, jobless, both residing at Barangay Cali, Burauen, Leyte.
