Hosting the EVRAA Meet has ‘multiplier effects,’ the vice mayor said, citing that the immediate recipients of this are the hotel, restaurant, and transportation sectors. Cari said that they also expect that thousands of participating delegations coming from the different provinces and cities of the region will visit some of their tourist attractions. The vice mayor said that they are now ready to host the EVRAA next year as this early, they are now in the midst of preparing schools that would serve as the billeting venues of the participating delegations. He also assured the all the classrooms funded by the City Government have their own comfort rooms.

In earlier report, Mayor Carmen Cari said that their city is more than ready to host the biggest sporting event in the region with almost all of their sports facilities and venues already in place. Mayor Cari informed earlier said that the City Government has already identified schools for the billeting of athletes, coaches, and other officials who would be joining the event. EVRAA is an annual completion of the best athletes in the elementary and high schools levels and serves as the qualifying game to the Palarong Pambansa.
