Vino De Coco A.K.A Tuba Wime (The pride of Bisaya!)
Do you like this story?

At the recently concluded Travel Tour Expo 2013 at SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia, I got to taste Vino de Coco Wine from Leyte. At first I was a bit hesitant to try it because I'm not a wine drinker, but when I had a sip of the Sweet Red Coconut Wine variety, I liked it. It has clear, smooth and unique taste! Lami! Promise!
Known in Region 8 and locally produced in Tacloban City, Vino de Coco is the first premium coconut wine (tubâ) approved by the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA). Made from fresh coconut sap it comes in 3 flavors: Dry Red, Sweet Red and Sweet White.
Founded by George Vacal Paraliza and Tila Paraliza in 2010, Vino de Coco‘s coconut winery is located at Marasbaras, Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines. This will surely be the wine to watch out for, definitely a new take on tubâ. You got to try it!
