Police report: 4 Fugitives arrested in Leyte/Samar

Police have arrested four fugitives facing murder, rape and cattle rustling charges.
Arturo Mabag, 69, wanted for rape, was arrested on Wednesday evening by the Police Regional Special Operations Group headed by Inspector Constantino Jabonete, Jr. in the outskirts of Barangay Canduyucan, San Sebastian, Samar.
Jabonete said Mabag had been in hiding for 16 years.
Brothers Dioscoro and Diosdado Cañete, who are wanted for murder, were also nabbed by another RSOG team in Brgy. Caluctugan, Dagami, Leyte.
Edwin Verterra, 44, wanted for cattle rustling, was arrested in Barangay Sungi, Abuyog, Leyte.
