The Provincial NYR Launching cum Info Caravan held at the Ormoc City Hall on March 20, 2013 highlighted the very symbolic National Year of Rice (NYR) logo which represents the three population segments – producers, public and policymakers – who must be involved in the attainment of rice self-sufficiency in the country. Spearheading the event were (center) Mr. Rufino B. Ayaso III, Regional Rice Program Focal Person, and Ormoc City Mayor Eric C. Codilla, together with the resource persons from various partner agencies.
