10,430 vacancies up for grabs in Ormoc job fair

Typhoon victims in the western part of Leyte wanting to find jobs here and abroad have a chance to find one, as the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) in Eastern Visayas conducts a jobs fair at the Ormoc City Hall this weekend.
Danny Cañete, Public Employment Services Office (Peso) manager-designate, said that 54 companies, 33 of which are foreign and 21 domestic, will offer 10,430 combined vacant positions.
The agencies need professionals, computer experts and skilled workers for hospitals, hotels, offices and construction firms.
The Placewell International needs Assistant Dental Cleaner and Assistant Mechanic Aircon, while the Qatar Services Corporation is looking for cook, driver, and electrical engineer.
Plumber, steel fixer, assistant technician, welder, and barber, among others, are also need for Saudi Arabia. Cañete National Government agencies will join in the job fair.
