DOLE, POEA to open job fair in Ormoc

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Philippine Overseas Employment Association (POEA) will pool together over 30 private recruitment agencies to offer 10,000 no-placement-fee jobs to residents of Ormoc City on Saturday.

These POEA-licensed agencies will offer overseas job opportunities, including both professional and skilled jobs, like openings for doctors, nurses, engineers, factory workers, and maintenance jobs. Recruitment agency owners will also put together a 30,000-kilogram shipment of relief packs to be distributed to 3,000 families.

They will also provide free medical and dental services in some barangays in Ormoc.
