Famoudi wins showdown with Barbas in MTB Cup

INDONESIAN Agung Fambudi of Team ISSI Lubuk Linggau powered his way to take the men’s open downhill title in the first leg of Asean MTB Cup last Sunday in Danao City, winning a close race that saw the top three riders separated by less than two seconds.
Fambudi tallied a time of 3 minutes 29.06 seconds to beat 2007 Southeast Asian Games (Seag) gold medalist Joey Barba of the Philippines by milliseconds. Barba finished the race in 3:29.13, while his cousin Eleazar Barba got third place in 3:30.84.
