Families file suit to compel lot sale

SOME 26 families occupying the disputed lots in Barangay Apas, Cebu City, now want to buy portions of the properties owned by Aletha Suico-Magat and her heirs.
Assisted by their lawyer Marlon Cabilan, the residents filed a civil suit before the Regional Trial Court to compel Magat and her seven heirs to sell to them the areas that they have been occupying for over 40 years.
