Fuel depot clerk shot dead in Zamboanga

ZAMBOANGA CITY - Motorcycle-riding gunmen shot dead a clerk at a fuel depot in a coastal village west of this city on Monday morning.
The police identified the victim as Joey Malaqui, 30, a resident of Barangay San Roque, and employed as warehouse clerk of the Petron depot in Lower Calarian.
Police investigations disclosed that the victim was riding his mountain bike on his way to work when the suspects fired at him at close range with a .45 pistol.
The killing came barely two days after a businessman was gunned down in a nearby village.
The victim identified as fish dealer Hussin Naama, a resident of Lower Calarian, was about to board a jeepney when he was shot dead by unidentified gunmen.
