Enrique Gil not dating Bangs Garcia

CEBUANO actor Enrique Gil dismissed rumors linking him to television personality Bangs Garcia.

During the holiday, photos of the two in Tokyo Disneyland circulated on image-sharing application Instagram. Bangs herself posted a snap of them together.

In a CinemaNews interview, the Kapamilya actor clarified that he was in Japan for a short vacation with his family while Bangs was there for a showbiz commitment. He said the trip was not a date.

"We went there as a family for vacation and we bumped into Bangs and yung producer niya, because she's doing a show. Sabi niya 'uy, gusto mo, since you're here, gusto mo rumaket lang,'" said Enrique.

The Kapamilya actor said he joined Bangs for a short meet and greet that's why a lot of photos of them were posted on the Internet.

Until now, Enrique is still standing by his decision to remain single and to concentrate on his blossoming career and just wait for that special girl.

The singer/actor said he wants things to come naturally.

"I don't want to look for a girl. Kasi 'pag hinanap mo, like 'I need a girlfriend'. Unlike 'pag natural, iba kesa sa na-feel mo lang na 'uy, okay ito," he said.

Enrique is currently preparing for ABS-CBN's upcoming series "Mirabella" opposite Julia Barretto. (Sunnex)
