Rebel officials face RTC today

TWO Communist Party of the Philippines-New Poeple’s Army (CPP-NPA) soldiers are set to be arraigned tomorrow before the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 29 in Toledo City.
Charges of violating Section 1 of Republic Act (RA) 9516 for illegal possession firearms and ammunition will be read against Benito Tiamzon, party chairman, and Wilma Austria-Tiamzon, the group’s secretary-general.
The couple will be joined by companions Joel Enano, Arlene Panea, Rex Villaflor, Nona Castillo and Jeosi Nepa.
