In view of the threats to security posed by the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Department of Foreign Affairs has raised Alert Level 2 (Restriction Phase) in the Gaza Strip. The estimated 109 Filipinos in Gaza are advised to restrict non-essential movements and prepare for possible evacuation.
Alert Level 1 (Precautionary Phase) is raised in the West Bank where there are about 113 Filipinos, and in southern & central Israel. There are 36,400 Filipinos in Israel. Under Alert Level 1, Filipinos are alerted to take the necessary precautions.
